Solar Engineering Package- Soils Report + Foundation Design

There are solar projects where a soils report + foundation design plans and calculations are required.  

We can start with the soils report and its conclusion give you foundation options.  We then continue to design the foundation, reinforcement and prepare plans and calculations.  Because one firm does all the engineering, you get an efficient foundation and a faster service.

Some of our clients include solar manufacturers and their subsidiaries. Past projects have used both pier foundations and shallow spread footings for solar panels.  Solar foundation design starts with elastic analysis of the soils-this gives us seviceability criteria.  We then continue on to wind analysis, seismic considerations and finally to footing design.  Often, a biaxial moment and a small axial and shear loads are all that have to be accounted for in the design. This may result in square or octogonal shaped foundation.

The soils report, foundation plans and structural calculations take approximately 3 weeks to complete.   If you do these mounted solar foundations frequently, we will extend you a 25% discount if we can very similar type of foundation over and over again.
